The Pursuit of More: Lessons on Failure, Momentum & Solitude
If you DON’T Quit YOU won’t FAIL: Vol 1 This is a concept that has been in the back of my mind for quite some time now. If you don’t quit you wont fail. How I picture it, there are only so many attempts you can take at something before you succeed and the more you fail (attempt) the closer you get to succeeding. For example, lets say you want to get into med school and your path has been decided by some higher power that its going to take... Read more...
The Pursuit of More: Lessons That Changed My Mindset
Passive Learning One of the most effective ways to consume knowledge is to do so through passive learning. This means that you are consuming information while also performing other tasks or just living life. The best example of this that you can try is instead of listening to music while in the car or at work listen to an audiobook or podcast in an area where your knowledge lacks. Being able to continually learn new information throughout the day is a very powerful tool that can give you a huge... Read more...
If you DON'T Quit YOU won't FAIL: Vol 2
Please read If you DON'T Quit YOU won't FAIL: Vol 1 for the best understanding! I wanted to take some time to write a Vol 2 of this topic as I came across some evidence of this philosophy. Please consider these examples: Frank Sinatra: 1,200 songs, 209 hits (17% success rate) Babe Ruth: 8,399 attempts, 714 home runs (8.5% success rate) Pablo Picasso: 150,000 pieces, 1,170 hits (0.7% success rate) These are all examples of very success people that refused to quit and because they didn't they eventually succeed. These are... Read more...
The Momentum Game: Vol 1
The best thing you can do RIGHT NOW is start. Im sure most of us have heard a variation of this before but what does it actually mean to start? An even better question is "where do I start"? I feel like so many people are blessed with fantastic ideas but never get to bring them into reality because they were never taught how to do so. Most of us were encouraged to be creative and to "use our imagination" as kids but very few learned how to actually bring... Read more...

The Importance of Time Alone.
Time alone (solitude) is such an important thing that less and less people are utilizing. To be clear, I am not talking about loneliness (feeling alienated from others). I am talking about choosing to be isolated which is proven to have great benefits. A 2021 study of 2,035 people across the United Kingdom examined what people learn and gain from spending time alone. The researchers compared there measurements of well-being, including self-determined motivation and peacefulness. Researchers found that 22.8% of adolescence, 54.7% of adults, and 53.8% of older adults experienced... Read more...
The Art of Showing Up: Vol 2
Last week I posted a blog on the importance of showing up (The Art of Showing up: Vol 1). My point was, even when you are feeling tired, unmotivated, or in pain you NEED to show up anyway. A couple days ago (August 2, 2026) I was suffering from a back injury that occurred several days before. Despite the pain I was experiencing I showed up to the gym anyway KNOWING that my effort was not going to be 110% and that is ok. The important thing is I showed... Read more...

The Art of Showing Up: Vol 1
Doing what you need to do EVEN when you don't feel like it is most commonly known as discipline, everyone knows this by now. BUT at the end of the day we are all human. No matter how disciplined we think we may be there will be those times where it fails you, and this is ok. What I'm arguing is the main factor that is going to contribute to your success is not discipline, motivation, or passion, it is showing up day after day (consistency). Don't get this confused...
